Position: Low Voltage Technician

About the Role 

As a Low Voltage Technician, you’ll play a critical role in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of a variety of low voltage systems. You’ll work on-site with our clients to ensure all systems are expertly installed and maintained to meet safety, security, and communication needs.

Key Responsibilities  
  • Install, service, and troubleshoot low voltage systems, including fire alarms, security alarms, CCTV, access control, and intercoms.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and within designated timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with local and federal regulations for system installations and services.
  • Provide excellent customer service, maintaining positive client relationships.
Requirements 
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in low voltage installations and service.
  • Proficiency in installing and maintaining fire alarms, security systems, CCTV, access control, and intercom systems.
  • Preferred licenses:  
    • Fire Alarm License (Texas and/or Louisiana)  
    • Fire Extinguisher License (Texas and/or Louisiana)  
    • Security License (Texas and/or Louisiana)  
    • Fire Alarm Planning License (Texas and/or Louisiana)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Answer incoming phone calls, address client inquiries, and provide accurate information or connect callers with the appropriate team member.
  • Inventory Management: Track, manage, and organize inventory to ensure equipment availability for scheduled jobs.
  • Daily Equipment Preparation: Verify that all necessary tools, equipment, and supplies are available and properly checked before loading them for installations each day.
  • Dispatching: Schedule and dispatch service calls, coordinating with field technicians to meet customer needs efficiently.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with paperwork, record-keeping, and other administrative tasks to support daily operations.
